Location: Addis Ababa (Launching 2027)
We believe God has given us a clear and prayerfully discerned mandate to serve the nation of Ethiopia by planting life-giving churches and strengthening the hands of Spirit-filled believers. This calling has not been formed by ambition, but through prayer, relationship, and a growing conviction that God is inviting us to participate in what He is already doing throughout the nation. We approach Ethiopia with humility and deep honor for its rich Christian heritage, its faithful leaders, and the vibrant work of the Holy Spirit already taking place there. In this season, our focus is on building strong, trusted relationships with local churches, pastors, and mission organizations across the region. We believe lasting ministry is established through genuine partnership, shared vision, and a commitment to strengthening local leaders. Our desire is not simply to bring a ministry into Ethiopia, but to stand alongside the Ethiopian church, encouraging believers, equipping leaders, developing future church planters, and helping create healthy structures through which churches and communities can flourish. We believe a glorious future awaits the Church in Ethiopia. We see a generation rising with a passion for the presence of God, a love for His Word, and a desire to carry the hope of Jesus into every sphere of society. We are praying for strong churches, empowered leaders, transformed families, and a multiplying movement that will reach cities, villages, and nations. We believe Ethiopia will continue to play a significant role in God’s purposes for Africa and beyond. As part of this calling, we are preparing to plant Hope City Ethiopia in 2027. This church will be established through prayer, collaboration, and the leadership of people who understand and love the nation. Our vision is for Hope City Ethiopia to become a Spirit-filled, Christ-centered, locally rooted church that strengthens believers, raises leaders, serves its community, and plants other churches. We move forward with faith and expectation, believing that what God begins in Ethiopia will bear fruit for generations to come.
