Officially established in 2021, Hope City India began as the fruit of our Founder and Senior Pastor’s longstanding missionary burden for the nation of India. The foundation for this work had been laid many years earlier through a partnership with El-Shaddai Ministries, under the leadership of Pastor D. Victor Samuel. For more than 17 years, this relationship has been strengthened through prayer, shared ministry, and a common desire to see lives transformed by the Gospel. Through an extended season of prayer and fasting, we sensed the Lord inviting Hope City to become more deeply involved in church planting efforts throughout India. With more than 1.3 billion souls in the nation, the need is great, but so is the opportunity. What began as a burden has grown into a thriving ministry network. Today, more than 62 churches are a part of the Hope City India family, and nearly 40 new churches have been planted through this movement. The headquarters of Hope City India, located in Pithapuram, Andhra Pradesh, is a newly constructed, state-of-the-art ministry facility that God enabled us to build from the ground up completely debt-free. The headquarters serves not only as a local church, but also as a house of prayer, a home for children, and a regional training center where pastors and ministry leaders can be equipped, encouraged, and prepared for greater service. As we look toward the future, our vision is to continue planting life-giving churches across India and to establish a Bible college dedicated to training and preparing pastors and leaders. We believe Hope City India is only at the beginning of what God desires to do. Through prayer, discipleship, leadership development, and church planting, we are committed to carrying the hope of Jesus throughout India for generations to come.
